I was born in Chillán in 1989, the last year of the 80s. Chile during this decade was a mystery shrouded in an enigma. Many dark secrets remain undiscovered to this day. There was brutality. There was hope. There were dismembered corpses and a drug-addicted street kid who saw the Holy Virgin. Dust in the streets, smoke in the air. A mute ghost of a country, the shadow of a silent man.

Now, I may not know much of these years. I have, however, dug deep in this age and discovered two undeniable truths:

- This dude was (and is) cool.
- This dude was (and is) uncool.

That is all.

I am uncertain about the level of fanciness that this here feature possesses. However, I have decided to discover more about its fanciful nature, or lack thereof.
